A Late Christmas Gift

Here are some Christmas gifts that I didn't have time to make before Christmas.  I would have just forgot about them but my good friend Kim at Cheap Chic Home made them and encouraged me to do the same.

We both had pinned them on Pinterest!

They are earbud pouches that can be attached to your purse or keychain.  Every morning the most common yell is "where are my earbuds".  My kids can't leave the house without them.

Erin at http://erinerickson.com/2011/11/circle-zip-earbud-pouch-tutorial/ gives a great tutorial on how to make this quick, cute, and practical gift.

I was able to find scraps to suit my daughters and husband.  Horse for DD#2, cupcakes for DD#1, and hockey for Hubby.

They were extremely easy and quick to make.   They cost me nothing as I had scraps, zippers, and I found the rings while cleaning the craft room.  Yea!
Thanks for dropping by,

The kids at my son's school have to bring their own earbuds for the computer lab. These would be awesome to make for his class.

Hi Janlynn, these are so cute. I bet the family was very pleased to receive their late gift. Thanks for sharing. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. Please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris

These are great! I think I need to make some for my daughter, who is forever losing her ear buds! I found you through Think Pink Sundays. Thanks for sharing! :)

So cute! I'm always either losing mine or ruining them by getting them all tangled up. I love the one with the horses - its so sweet with them looking at each other across the zipper!

I saw your link at Sew Darn Crafty, thanks for sharing! I love these! Maybe you can put a buttonhole on both ends to run the wire out and keep them from flopping everywhere when you use them. I really would like to try this but I have so much to sew already!

Hi JanLynn,
You follow me and I can't find a way to follow you from Wordpress and I feel rotten about that! RSS feed? email subscribe? Can't do GFC, I learned wordpress doesn't allow. Anyway, love these! Just gave my daughter earbuds, constantly losing hers-it must be epidemic-this will be perfect. Thanks!

These are brilliant! My headphones are always getting tangled up with everything else in my bag!
